Over the past decade FELA has continued to reinvest into the program. Like a large commercial centre, we have all the latest learning materials at our finger tips. But unlike a commercial centre, we’re located in a quiet residential neighbourhood with an expansive outdoor play space where children get to play in the dirt, not just rubber mats. With a small class size, rest assured that your child will get the attention and care that they deserve
Rates.
Our rates remain competitive, allowing us to serve as much of the community as possible. We are enrolled with the Childcare Fee Reduction Initiative (CCRFI), Childcare Operating funds, and accept the ‘Affordable Childcare Benefit’ for those who qualify. Our goal is to make use of all the available fundings sources, and pass on the savings to parents

Helen Gill
Helen Gill is an Early Childhood Educator that is also Infant/Toddler and Special Needs Education certified. “Teacher Helen”, as the kids calls her, shows compassion and attention to children that is hard to find these days. She often spends weekends upgrading her skills at workshops and seminars, logging literally thousands of hours over the just past few years. As a veteran ECE, Teacher Helen is able to come up with exciting programs that keep every child engaged, everyday

Pandemic
When the pandemic began, we made the decision to remain open; many of our clients were front-line workers, including healthcare workers, who were pivotal to fighting the virus during the early unknown phase of the pandemic. We adapted our health and illness policies to minimize as much as possible the spread of illness amongst the children in our care.
